Melaka Day Trip - Part 2

Trishaw Ride
After the Museum, we hopped on the colourful trishaw for a short ride in Melaka Town. The trishaws are also equipped with Boom Box blasting loud music for our entertainment!
The trishaw dropped us off at the Jetty, so we then hopped on the boat for a short river cruise! Unfortunately, we just missed the guided tour. Nevertheless, they played the taped guide all the way and we were lucky to be seated next to the speakers and could follow the "tour".

Kampung Morten -a Malay kampung (village) is a "living museum" is situated by the riverside and is open to the public. A whole Malay community lives there and open their homes to tourist for visits.

They've really spruced up the riverside and beutiful murals can be seen on some of the buildings.
View of St Francis Xavier Church from the River.

We finally ended up at Jonker Street and we had dinner at the Geographer's Cafe.

Before heading home, we stopped by Puri Dinner for coffee. It was a tiring day, but we all had fun!
We drove, walked, ride on trishaw, walked, boatride, walked and finally drove home!
