Dungun - June '10 - The Journey Begins

11th June 2010

Everyone woke up early, excited for our trip to Dungun. Its not our first trip to Dungun, but its the first time for my cousins to join us on our holiday trip to Dungun.

E-mails have been circulating amongst my cousins on the trip, increasing everyone's excitement.



Ok Confirmed so far:
- Pit & Family
- Alut & Family
- Abang Duan & Family
- Bahyah, Che Mat, Wan Yong
- Mak, Yong, Anees
- Nas & Akram (part-time??)


may I ask what do we need to prepare?
1. How much for accomodation?
2. what to bring - pillows, blankets, towels?
3. What food to bring - beras, maggi, roti, sardin, belacan?
4. What else advisable to bring? Ada chance perg snorkeling ke?
5. Ada cooking utensils tak - rice cooker, periok, kuali, pinggan, mangkok, cawan, gelas, etc?

We plan to leave abt 9am. Its abt 6 hours drive (with stops), either meet at Kak Ema's place or meet at Rest area Genting Sempah or Temerloh.

I may not be able to convoy at 9am. But I'll try to catch with everyone along the way.

So by 9am we were already at Genting Sempah, waiting for the rest of the entourage. 
Abang Duan (& Family) & Bahiyah (& the golden girls) soon joined us; and we started our journey soon after.
Pit managed to catch up with us at the Temerloh rest area.

We stopped in Kemaman to buy crabs, where Nas & Akram joined us.
Off we go!

The  next pitstop is lunch, which we had at the Kemasik beach.

We got to Dungun around 3pm. After being so long in the land-locked area, everyone is eager to hit the water!
